	21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Loudon County Schools is applying for a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant and a Lottery for Education: Afterschool Programs grant. Anyone wishing to comment or make suggestions regarding these grant opportunities may do so by contacting Kathy Proaps. Your comments and suggestions are appreciated. A copy of this application will be on file for review at the system's Coordinated School Health Office after submission on May 16, 2008.
	Lots of Changes for Tennessee!!! There are lots of changes coming in education for Tennessee. The TN Diploma Project will result in curricular changes, graduation requirement changes, and more. Click here to find powerpoints describing upcoming changes.
	Results for Blue Sky and Graduation Rate meeting Loudon County recently held an information gathering meeting for the improvement of the school system. Results from the meeting as well as the powerpoints can be viewed.
	Students participate in credit recovery and new technology based instructional support program. Skills Tutor is a software based program that select teachers and students are utilizing during a trial period this winter. The company kindly agreed to allow us to pilot their program from January to March 2008.
	Loudon County Students are participating in E4Learning Pilot The state of Tennessee has been expanding online learning opportunities for students. Loudon County Schools have been selected to participate in a pilot program. Students at Greenback and Loudon High Schools are participating January to May 2008.
