There is a School Board workshop Thursday, June 19, 11:00, at the Courthouse Annex. The Commission will hold a called meeting for budget amendments on Monday, June 30, 6:00, Courthouse Annex. The tax rate and budget will not be voted on until the August meeting.
Summer Hours
Mrs. Malone & Mrs. Amburn will be at Eaton most days during the summer, primarily during morning hours. If you miss them, please call the school at 986-2420 and leave voicemail. We hope all our families have a wonderful summer.

Mrs. Talley Awarded $23,000 Assistive Technology Grant
Congratulations to special education teacher, Ashley Talley, whose grant proposal was accepted by the State Dept. of Education. Mrs. Talley will receive $23,000 toward the purchase of technology for her classroom.
Eaton Receives Honor from Dept. of Education

Eaton received notice this week that on TCAP 2007, students scored in the top 10% of all schools in Tennessee in both reading/language arts and math.

Two More Eaton Rockets

Congratulations to Jamie (1st grade) & Nick Dixon on the birth of Abigail Grace born May 14. She weighed 9lbs, 5oz., and was 23 inches long. Katie (4th grade) and Tim Ferraris welcomed John Garrison Ferraris (to be called Jack) into the world May 16. He weighed 9lb. 3 oz. and was 22” long.
